Top Reasons Why You Should Date a Programmer

Top Reasons Why You Should Date a Programmer
Do you have a date coming up with someone who writes code for a living? If so, are you wondering what kind of things you should talk about to impress him or her? Should you talk about code or other geeky things? Do programmers even want to talk about programming on a date?

Following are Top Reasons Why You Should Date a Programmer

1. Programmers are crazy smart. They know their stuff inside out, and are always learning new things. When they don’t know, they are keen to learn. They’ve adopted such a mentality since young and have thus amassed so much knowledge inside their brain, all ready to share with others.
2. They appreciate their relationships, and realize there won’t always be cake. (This is not a lie.)
3. Programmers are problem solvers; if something is wrong, they’ll work to fix it.
4. Computer science jobs are one of the highest paying ones in the world, in almost any part of the world. Your programmer date has a very high chance of begin significantly well off, so you are assured of a posh place for dinner, AND you don’t have to worry about pulling out your purse. Ever.
Mark Zuckerberg, one of the richest, most successful and powerful technopreneurs in the world. He was a programmer who changed the world through the Facebook Social network. If a successful partner is what you’re looking for, most programmers would make the cut.
5. Builds failing, code breaking; a great sense of humor is something every programmer has to have.
6. Looking for someone who’ll notice you? A good programmer is always paying attention to details.
7. Your programming date has spent a lot of time building stuff for his users. This involves understanding the users and knowing what they want and what they don’t like. And because of this, he’s probably attained a very, very high level of empathy. He’s totally going to get why you sometimes behave all weird and will think twice before doing something that might affect you.

8. Programmers are generally happy with their career — meaning less stress at home for date a programmer!
9. Mind games aren’t logical, so you won’t find programmers playing one with you. Unless, of course, it’s a video game.
10. Programmers are thinkers and learners. They’ll enjoy having an engaging, thoughtful conversations with you, and they’ll appreciate your perspective.
11. If all these reasons don’t have you convinced, this last one definitely will. All of his human skills make him perfect boyfriend material and his rational will make him a mature, and sensible partner. But the defining factor of a programmer is that they’re committed. The most talented programmers don’t necessarily have the highest paying jobs. They choose the projects that touche them at an emotional level, and they work with them, while they could be making much, much more money. Once he’s committed to you, no pretty girl can lure him away from you. He’s yours, he’s a keeper.
12. There’s never a NULL moment! Programmers are genuinely good people.
13. They are a passionate bunch who would give all their time and effort to the thing that has captured their hearts.
14. If a programmer can search for a semicolon through countless lines of code, it means they’ve mastered the art of patience.
15. Programmers might be the shy type, but they’re supremely straightforward. So if they’re feeling something, they’re bound to tell you on the face. While it might not be what you always want, you can trust this man to be truthful to you.
16. Computer not working? A programmer can probably figure out why, and then make it run faster!
17. Programmers aren’t hard to find. They’re always on the Internet and waiting to meet you.
18. Programmers are bound to have a long lasting relationship because he is experienced in handling differences, sending his codes for reviews, accepting his faults, most importantly never letting his ego affect his behavior. Because If you have ever gone through debugging, you would realize that even the most difficult relationship problems have trivial solutions.
19. One reason why programmers are sweet and sensitive is that they know when and how to give in to their partners. When you have a bad day and just want to complain to someone about everything that goes wrong in life, they’re here to listen to you. And even if you happen to be blaming them for the cause of everything gone wrong, they’d give in than risk raising an argument, just to make you feel better.

10 THINGS TO DO IF YOU FINISH EXAMS EARLY

if you’re lucky enough to have the chance, here’s a few things you could do. Take a break from revision and read the list. But be warned, the invigilators are on the look out for any related activity and you are advised to keep these actions outside of the examination hall.
1. Count down to the 15 minute warning
10 minutes to go
10 more minutes
10 minutes remaining
2. Play with your calculator. Try and make the following words
  • randomise (Without using the ‘RANDOM’ button)
  • costandexpenses
  • lady,gaga
  • little,chinese,seamstress
  • igcse,examinations
3. Attempt to talk to your friends without breaking malpractice rules
Hint: It’s impossible. And you shouldn’t even if you could
4. Manicure your hair and nails. Nothing beats the silence in the hall when it comes to discovering concentration and patience.
5. You know how everything you ever revise never actually gets tested in the exam, it’s always what you didn’t revise they seem to care about. Well what about putting all your ‘extra knowledge’ on ‘extra sheets’ for the examiner to read. You’ll probably still get a big red 0 and a U but at least they’ll have had to devote time and effort to marking your paper!
6. If you’re doing any of the above, you should start writing the letter to you parents explaining why you flunked. What else did you expect. You were bored enough with revision to read this. You might as well have expected it.
7. Think up our own list of 10 things to do if you finish exams early.
Disclaimer: This is not what happened and this is not how this list was created.
8. If you are short on revision time for the next exam, highlight the entire table. They tell you not to do it, but at least it would take time to clean up! In reality however, they’re most likely just to get the spare table out. If they do, it means you’ve wasted loads of time and gained no extra revision time at all! That’s the opportunity cost.
9. Ask for an extra sheet (note: DO NOT ASK FOR THE MARK SCHEME) and mark yourself. If you want, you could add little side-notes like “give candidates 3 marks for correct answer. See question 3 of May/June 2006 Mark Scheme” for the examiner to read.
10. Check your answers! How old and cliche… That’s why it makes the list (albeit at number 10)

10 Quick tips for Protecting Your Privacy

Privacy protection is most important thing which we must do over internet these days. Most of the companies collect our very personal information and indirectly earn the money using our sensitive information. Facebook, Twitter and Google+ are free but how they are earning? They do so by sometime selling our information to Ad networks or displaying the ads by themselves. Every system have some vulnerabilities which cause the leaks of the sensitive information of the users from the system. So it is necessary to ensure the Privacy Protection on our end. Following the some Quick tips to ensure the Proper Privacy Protection

Use Virtual Private Network

It was always better to use a Virtual Private Network when you are using internet over the Public Network. It is also better for anonymous internet surfing to hide your identity from the website you are using. Although they are used to carry out the illegal activities but still it is highly advisable to use them especially when you are not on a secure network. Use Zenmate Great Browser Extension

Avoid eating Cookies

I am talking about the browser cookies which install by themselves and gather a lot of information about the user’s surfing activity. The main purpose of cookies to generate the interest-relevant ads on the websites. You can avoid cookies by using the “incognito” or “Private” mode of the browsers which is available in most of them. There are some browsers plugins/add-ons which clears the cookies and cache constantly.

Don’t stay logged on

It is very easy for everyone to stay logged on rather than typing the password again and again but remember that it is less secure it terms of privacy. Big internet giants like Google and Facebook can follow you everywhere you go over the internet. So cut the thread and surf the internet without being followed.

Use Multi emails

It is not a good idea to use same email id for social networks, forums, news subscriptions and Banks as well. Sometime most of them are much unsecured. You shouldn’t use the same email id for the Banks and other finance related websites on the social networks and forums. In this way you can prevent the much loss if one of your email id got hacked.

Encryption before saving in cloud

It is better to encrypt the data before saving it in the cloud storage services like Google Drive, OneDrive and DropBox. Honestly speaking no one is trustable over the internet so it is necessary to ensure the Privacy Protection by ourselves. Encryption of data can prevent the data and privacy loss even if these services are vulnerable to any attack.

Don’t allow GPS

While tweeting or Posting on Facebook, they obtain the location of the user and sometime also share it among the followers of the friends which is not good for the Privacy Protection. The thing which we can do is to stop browsers to allowing the websites to access the GPS and locate the position using the internet connection. Location using the IP is mostly not accurate but still it can tell a lot so we can spoof our IP using the VPN which I discussed above.

Google Your name

If you are not doing anything which should make you famous over the internet then it is bad to have your name in the search engines. Try to search your first and last name in the google and check the results. If any site is displaying any information about you publically then contact the administrator of that website and take the necessary steps. Setup “Google Alert” on this search page because whenever any information updates there, Google should inform you.

Picture can expose location

I’m not taking the visual appearance of the picture but whenever you takes the picture, most of the Smart phones and digital cameras saves a lot of information about the picture including the device name, picture information and especially the exact coordinates where the picture has been taken. So turn off the GPS of the mobile Camera.

Keep Computer Security Software Updated

Try to update your antivirus whenever it is needed. Never use the cracked or fake key activated antivirus. It is much better to use the Free version rather than the cracked. Cracked antivirus can be the most dangerous bug for your system so protect yourself.

Don’t Share if unnecessary

Usually while registering to any website especially social networks, they ask for a lot of stuff. Don’t fill those text boxes which are unnecessary to be filled. Provide only limited amount of information which is needed to be provided to that website.

Samsung Announced 128GB UFS 2.0 Flash Memory

Samsung Announced 128GB UFS 2.0 Flash Memory, the industry’s first 128-gigabyte (GB) ultra-fast embedded memory based on the much-anticipated Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 2.0 standard for next-generation flagship smartphones. The new embedded memory’s UFS 2.0 line is the most advanced JEDEC-compliant, next-generation flash memory storage requirement in the world.
UFS memory develops “Command Queue,” a technology that rushes the speed of command execution in SSDs through a serial interface, meaningfully growing data processing speeds related to the 8-bit parallel-interface-based eMMC standard. Samsung UFS memory manners 19,000 input/output operations per second (IOPS) for random reading, which is 2.7 times faster than the most common embedded memory for high-end smartphones today.
Samsung Announced 128GB UFS
The eMMC 5.0. It also provides a successive read and write performance boost up to SSD levels. In adding to a 50 percent decline in energy consumption. The random read speed is 12 times faster than that of a typical high-speed memory card (which runs at 1,500 IOPS), and is likely to develop system performance.
The blazing fast UFS embedded memory works at 14,000 IOPS and is 28 times as fast as a conservative external memory card, making it capable of supporting continuous Ultra HD video playback and smooth multitasking functions at the same time.
To deliver more design flexibility to global customers, Samsung’s UFS embedded memory package, a new ePoP (embedded package on package) solution, can be loaded directly on top of a logic chip, taking approximately 50 percent less space.
